Heat pumps
Is my home suitable for a heat pump?
Almost every home is suitable for a hybrid heat pump, it works alongside your existing central heating boiler and requires few modifications. For an all-electric heat pump, we look at the insulation and your heat distribution system (radiators or underfloor heating). During our free home survey, we will honestly determine which version will yield the best results.
What is the difference between a hybrid and an all-electric heat pump?
A hybrid heat pump heats electrically for most of the year and only switches on the central heating boiler during severe frost, ideal for most existing homes. An all-electric heat pump runs entirely on electricity and no longer requires a gas connection, but it does require a well-insulated home and often low-temperature heat distribution.
How much can I save with a heat pump?
With a hybrid heat pump, you can save up to approximately € 948 per year on your gas bill; the exact amount depends on your consumption, home, and the gas price. We calculate an honest saving for you in advance, without any sales talk.
Solar panels
How many solar panels do I need?
That depends on your electricity consumption, your roof area, and its orientation. As a rule of thumb, an average household covers its consumption with about 8 to 12 panels. We calculate the ideal number based on your actual consumption and roof layout, so you don't install too many or too few.
Do I pay VAT on solar panels?
No. Since 2023, a 0% VAT rate has applied to the supply and installation of solar panels on or near residential properties. You no longer need to reclaim the VAT from the tax authorities, we invoice directly without VAT.
What will happen to the net metering scheme?
The net metering scheme will end on 1 January 2027. Until then, you can fully offset the electricity you generate against your consumption. After that, feeding electricity back into the grid will become less favourable; a home battery will then become an interesting option to store your own solar energy and use it yourself.
Home battery
Is a home battery already cost-effective?
With the end of the net metering scheme in 2027, a home battery is becoming increasingly attractive: you store your solar energy and use 60 to 80% of it yourself instead of feeding it back for a low fee. Whether it is already cost-effective now depends on your consumption pattern and energy contract, we will calculate it honestly for you.
Can I connect a home battery to my existing solar panels?
Yes. In most cases, a home battery can easily be connected to an existing solar installation. We will check your inverter and fuse box during the survey and advise on a battery with the right capacity for your situation.
EV chargers
Can you install a charging station at home and for business?
Yes. We install charging stations for private individuals at home and for companies, from a single charging point to a complete charging plaza or fleet solution. With load balancing, we prevent overloading your connection and, if desired, we can connect the charging station to your solar panels.
Can I charge using my own solar energy?
Certainly. We can configure your charging station to prioritise your own generated solar energy. This way, you charge your car as much as possible with your own energy instead of expensive power from the grid.
Air conditioning
Can an air conditioning unit also heat?
Yes. Our energy-efficient split and multi-split air conditioning units both heat and cool. In the shoulder seasons, you can even use them to heat your home cost-effectively, as an air conditioner is essentially a small air-to-air heat pump.
Who is allowed to install an air conditioner with refrigerant?
Work on systems containing refrigerant (F-gases) may legally only be carried out by a STEK or F-gas certified company. Energie Install is certified for this, so your air conditioner will be installed professionally and in accordance with the regulations.
ISDE subsidy
For which products can I receive an ISDE subsidy?
The ISDE subsidy (Investment Subsidy for Sustainable Energy) applies to products such as heat pumps and solar water heaters. There is no ISDE for solar panels, but the 0% VAT rate does apply. The amount of the subsidy depends on the type and capacity of the appliance.
Do you handle the ISDE application for me?
Yes. We take care of the entire ISDE subsidy application for your heat pump, so you don't have to deal with the paperwork. Important: the application must be submitted after installation and the appliance must be on the official list of eligible devices, we ensure this is the case.
Maintenance & maintenance contracts
Do you offer maintenance contracts?
Yes. We offer maintenance contracts for equipment including central heating boilers, heat pumps, and air conditioners. With a contract, your installation is checked periodically, it runs more efficiently, lasts longer, and you get priority in the event of a breakdown.
Do you have an emergency repair service?
Yes, we have our own service department for maintenance and repairs. Customers with a maintenance contract receive priority. In the event of a breakdown, you can call us on 085 060 8485; we will schedule you as soon as possible.
Central heating boilers
Do you also replace central heating boilers?
Yes. We maintain, repair, and replace central heating boilers. When replacing, we provide honest advice: sometimes a new boiler makes sense, and sometimes the step towards a hybrid heat pump is smarter and more cost-effective in the long term.
Delivery time
How quickly can you install?
After a free site survey, we usually schedule the installation within a few weeks. Operating from our branches in Amstelveen and Halsteren, we can be on-site quickly. The exact lead time depends on the product and our current workload; we will provide you with a realistic schedule in advance.

What warranty do I get on my installation?
